I’ve been all over Kansas City area looking for a vet I like. Was referred to Dr. Todd by a friend and have had a wonderful experience over the last couple years. We’ve had to make difficult decisions with our older dog and he communicated our options clearly. The Techs and front desk workers are lovely as well. The best in the business!
Our puppies really enjoyed the stay.
Loved the individual attention, quiet luxury rooms and was less stressed versus other boarding locations.

Taylor animal hospital is the best place to take your pets. They’ve always been able to get us in especially with last-minute emergencies. My husband and I foster dogs for BBRH and sometimes when we pick up and rescue a new foster we have to take it to the vet straight away because somethings wrong. At Taylor animal hospital their staff always seem to get us in and help us out and have saved many dogs. They genuinely care about all the animals and do their absolute best to save them all.
Exceptional group of vets and staff that always care for our pets in a timely and professional manner. I appreciate how gentle they are with our nervous dog and how they have thoughtful care plans. They are excellent about scheduling last minute for unexpected problems, I have always been able to have my pet seen the same day. Thank you for your care!
We visited Taylor Animal Hospital for the first time this last week and so far we love it!! I was able to schedule an appointment within the next day or two, even being new to the practice. Scheduled online super easy, they personally reached out next day to confirm, and they were ready for both of my dogs as soon as I got there even though I was a little early. The doctor seemed VERY knowledgeable and explained everything very thoroughly, answered all questions I had, and then gave me a couple different options with the pricing for each one. All staff seemed very nice and overall it was a very good experience for our first visit!
Taylor animal hospital is the only place we trust with our dog. The staff knows how to handle him when doing the treatments he needs and they treat him as their own dog. We have been going there for almost 3 years and since moving drive 45 minutes because we simply won’t change. From boarding services to simple maintenance shots and nail clippings - everyone there is top notch, kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy. This vet will also shoot you straight- they don’t upcharge bogus treatments that are not necessary- you will never feel taken advantage of.
I took my older dog up for a second opinion on her back issues. Dr Taylor was kind, considerate and listen to how my dog has changed in the last few months. He recommended things that my other Vet would never consider. She is doing so much better. She is more comfortable to go down the path as an older dog. The staff is wonderful and friendly!! Highly recommend this practice!!
Shubby watched his last sunrise here in the parking lot. He loved going on walks in nature, we would always go to the riverfront in Parkville. The staff here were excellent in helping me say my goodbyes. A beautiful urn that I can place a picture of him. Thank you
